A booking link that fits in your Instagram bio
Most barbershop clients find you on Instagram or Google Maps. Book4 gives you a short booking link at book4.co.uk/book/your-shop that you can drop into your bio, a story link sticker, your Google Business Profile, Facebook, WhatsApp and your website. Clients tap it and book straight away, instead of sending a DM and waiting for a reply between cuts.
Your booking page shows your shop's name, logo and banner, with a choice of preset colour themes, and there's no marketplace listing other barbers next to you.

Clients pick their barber and slot
Regulars want their usual barber. Turn on staff selection and clients choose who cuts their hair, then pick from that barber's free times. Set up your menu the way you price it: skin fade (30 minutes), scissor cut (45 minutes), beard trim (15 minutes) or a cut and beard combo, each with its own price, in the order you want clients to see them.
Per-barber hours, plus a shop-wide buffer
Each barber can have their own working hours, so part-timers and weekend-only chairs show the right availability, and gaps in a barber's hours cover breaks. Add a shop-wide buffer after each appointment to clean down, and block out dates for holidays or training days. Clients only ever see slots that genuinely work.
Stop losing chair time to no-shows
An empty chair on a Saturday hurts. Take an optional card deposit through Stripe for busy slots, set a cancellation window that suits you, and let Book4 send confirmation and reminder emails before each appointment. Clients who can't make it are more likely to cancel in time, so you can fill the gap.
Want reminders to land on clients' phones? SMS reminders are optional and paid for with credit packs you top up in the dashboard, and you choose whether they go 24 hours before, 48 hours before or on the morning of the cut.

Memberships for regulars
With the Memberships add-on (£9.99 a month) you can sell a monthly cut plan, for example two cuts a month for a fixed price. You set how many visits each plan includes per week or month, clients join from your booking page and they pay automatically by card. Regular income, fewer quiet weeks.
Walk-ins and phone bookings: add them manually
Not everyone books online. When someone walks in or rings the shop, add the booking yourself in the dashboard in a few seconds. It lands in the same calendar as online bookings, so every barber's day stays accurate and nobody gets double booked. Each client's booking history builds up over time, so you can see who comes back every few weeks.
