- What is Book4?
- Book4 is an online booking platform for businesses. It lets you offer 24/7 appointment booking to your customers, manage your calendar, services, staff, and customer records in one place, with a custom booking page that fits your brand.
- How do customers book appointments?
- You get a unique booking link (e.g. book4.co.uk/book/your-business). Customers visit the link, choose a service, pick a date and time from your availability, and confirm. They can book anytime, even when you're closed; only your available slots are shown.
- How do I get started as a business?
- Sign up for a free trial—no credit card required. Set your services, opening hours, and availability. Your booking page is ready to share. When you're ready to go live, choose a plan and add any add-ons you need.
- What does the free trial include?
- The free trial gives you full access to the dashboard: your own booking page, calendar, services, staff, and customer list. You can take unlimited bookings during the trial. No payment details are required to start.
- How much does Book4 cost?
- After the 14-day free trial, the core platform is £19.99/month. Add-ons such as Memberships (£9.99/mo) and Additional Staff Seats (£3.99 per staff/mo) are optional. See the Pricing page for full details.
- Do I need a card for the free trial?
- No. Sign up and use the full product for the trial period. We'll tell you before any paid period starts. You can add a plan and payment method when you're ready to go live.
- What payment methods do you accept?
- We use Stripe (https://stripe.com) for payments. Cards and other methods supported by Stripe are available when billing is enabled. Payments taken from your customers through the booking site are subject to a combined fee (payment processing + platform): 3.5% + 20p per transaction. See the Pricing page for full details.
- Can customers cancel or reschedule?
- Yes. You can set cancellation and rescheduling rules (e.g. minimum notice). Customers can often cancel or reschedule from their confirmation email or booking link, depending on your settings. You stay in control of your policy.
- Is my data secure?
- We take security seriously. Data is stored securely and we use industry-standard practices. We don't sell your or your customers' data. For full details, see our terms and privacy policy.
